It was hard to feel confident in myself when I got made fun of, when I had trouble reading out loud or when I had to forgo fun time to sit and read with my teachers. As I went through grade school, middle school, and high school (proud public school student!), I am able to see a big, holistic picture due to my neurdiversity.
