On Friday November 4 , 300 nonprofit and social good professionals gathered at the Marines’ Memorial Hotel and Club in San Francisco for Social Media for Nonprofits – a national conference series on the use of social media for social good. It was a broad gathering including everyone from consultants to students to startups – and nonprofits ranging from the San Francisco Bay Area focused Stride Center to the global fundraising platform Kiva.org.
