There was much speculation as to whether they mover to Jaiku (with its newly minted Google money), or Pownce, BrightKite, Tumblr, plurk or FriendFeed. I use Spanning Sync to keep iCal and Address Book on the laptop in sync with iCal and Address Book on the Mac (and in sync with Google Calendar and Gmail). Not to mention all the Google , Salesforce and Box I can eat in the cloud. Google provided an OTA solution for calendar syncing that I’m dying for them to provide for iPhone.

We didn’t have a unique URL for Facebook, and we didn’t have Google Analytics tracking codes set up on the web version of the email. So, for the next email we sent out, I used trackable URLs from Google Analytics for both Facebook and Twitter. Now, I was able to see stats in Google Analytics for each separate medium.

Create an XML sitemap and submit it to Google (and Yahoo too!). Use descriptive, succinct Alt tags for images , especially if the image is used as a link. The Alt tag is a description for an imag.
