How it differs from your traditional PowerPoint presentation is that the speaker uses 20 slides and has 20 seconds per slide to speak. The slides are set up to auto-run so they advance automatically. Then after the 6:40 is up (20 slides x 20 seconds = 6 minutes 40 seconds) the presenter sits down. You can also post them to the web if you videotape your live presentation or if you record audio of your talk to match the slides.

The title slide - "Teaching to Transform" should be a second or two longer and then hit me a visual that shows "transformation" -- maybe a bored student and then an engaged one. There's a part of me that ones hear the kids s - some audio quotes from the kids that relate to the points you're trying to make. I thought it was excellent and told her so.

In my searches for tools that would allow me to start this endeavor, I had several things I wanted: Possibility of showing slides and sharing my Linux and Mac Desktop Audio conferencing (two way) Chat capabilities Clean, professional, bug-free interface Low (or no) infrastructure costs or setup Truly cross platform Inexpensive (but not necessarily free.) 15 per person/minute for audio is very tough to swallow. It does, apparently, do audio via VOIP.

If you have more than a few international participants, especially from developing countries, voice connectivity for the audio portion of the meeting can quickly become a problem. Don't forget clear instructions about audio, whether using teleconference or VOIP. As participants log in, have a slide or whiteboard that clearly shows the instructions for the audio. Suggest that participants mute their audio when they are not talking to minimize background noise.
