I think favorite lame LinkedIn spam was the one that said it came from LinkedIn Connections [connections@linkedin.com], provided a tracking number, and was formatted like a UPS delivery notification.

Internal Revenue Service, Metro Plex 1, 8401 Corporate Drive, Suite 300, Landover, MD 20785. That should be a dead giveaway to anyone receiving these messages.
