I came up with an idea to mesh my love of weekend crafts fairs and artist open studio visits with my day job. Once I had a few donations in hand, I had postcards printed with beautiful photos of the artists’ work. At first everyone was ‘gung ho;’ it was fun. And then we had to package and ship the items to the winners!
