I've been using it as my default on my MacBook and iMac for quite some time now. Every time Firefox or Safari comes out with a new bell or whistle, I try it for a few minutes and then go running back to Chrome. I live in Google applications (Gmail, Google Reader, Calendar, etc.) I think Google Chrome is a fantastic browser.

They have a hosted version , but at a minimum of $20/month it's more than I want to spend now compared to a one-time software license purchase. And it was cumbersome to organize and build. I can migrate their Microsoft Access applications to a free Salesforce account. Now they have no need for local applications or data. Over time, they will replace every PC with a Chromebook. They can take them anywhere they need, access all their applications and data, never worry about malware, backups, disaster recovery, etc.
