I cringe when I see the tons of mail environmental orgs send every year. And even with response rates tanking for direct mail (when you compare them to response rates 20 years ago), there is still tremendous value there for nonprofits. I get a lot of this mail because I take action alot online. I never give in response to a piece of mail.
