Lame spams of the day: confirmation from [insert social network name]

In the past 2 days I've received spams in the form of confirmations from MySpace, Habbo, Tagged, and Foursquare. Why not preserve your profile, playlists and photos by deleting your friends and changing your privacy setting to "Only my friends?" Is it a trend or just me? They don't look related, but it's an odd coincidence.
