The whole experience was exhilarating and deeply human. I first sensed the difference at the front door. There wasn't one. Birds flew through the proceedings.

Jane McGonigal and the folks from IFTF have released a new future-casting game/collaborative experience called Signtific Lab. And while it's fun as an online experience, I see the potential for Signtific to be repurposed in physical space as a dynamic platform for capturing diverse visitor opinions on a variety of "what if?"

But the VSA has taken an intentional approach to these structured conversations with the goal of putting the (arguably) best part of conferences—the side conversations and hallway discussions—front and center.
