The Sit-Ins: A Story of Creative and Strategic Struggle

Behind an unassuming Woolworth’s storefront in Greensboro, NC, Civil Rights history was made on a February day in 1960. The story of that day, the movement it spawned, and its lasting impact are told at the International Civil Rights Center and Museum. Museum programming, which included films and lectures, was also moved online.
