One of my blog readers, Sarah Mowry, Outreach Director for the Deschutes Land Trust pointed me to Nature Conservancy’s Instagram contest , an image scavenger hunt. How much good will is generated by those contributed and by the winners of the contest whose works will be posted on the Nature Conservancy’s FB and Tumblr.

Have a volunteer organize your image assets and put them in the right folders or work to build a library on Box.com, Dropbox, flickr or a shared Google Photos account. Expand this task to managing a public contest for supporters to email in pictures that volunteers can then clean up and put into the master library.

The Flickr for Nonprofits Affinity group will meet in Washington, DC on April 4 at 1:00 PM ( check agenda ) to share experiences, tips, and ideas about how Flickr can be used to support nonprofits and their programs. Flickr Photo - NYPL Photo Booth. The photos from both are then immediately uploaded to a Flickr , where anyone can scroll through shots of the library’s enthusiastic patronage. Johnson & Johnson sponsored a contest where they donated $1 for each selfie photo donated through Donate a Photo. Family is Familia.

The fundraising goal for Give to the Max Day is to get 35,000 people to support their favorite regional charity, raising more than $3 million in donations and grants in just 24 hours! Retina Australia is an organization which supports people with blinding retinal eye diseases, as well as raising funds for research into this debilitating condition.
