The Giving USA Foundation and its research partner, the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University , has released Giving USA 2011: The Annual Report on Philanthropy for the year 2010. Below are some key findings and information from the 56th annual report. Key Findings: Total estimated charitable giving in the United States rose 3.8% in 2010. Total charitable giving by donor source for 2010 is estimated to be $290.89 billion. Giving by individuals rose an estimated 2.7 percent in 2010.
