There are many participatory kiosks that are functional black holes--visitors make videos or draw pictures or write stories, drop them in a slot, and. Or if YouTube allowed people to upload videos but gave them no information about when those videos would be available for viewing. nothing happens.

The unconference got lots of locals "in the door" who otherwise hadn't considered the museum a useful or interesting place. Don't look at the number of videos, photos, or reviews.
