I was reminded of these two design principles when exploring the Johnny Cash Project , a crowd-created music video for a posthumous recording of Cash singing "Ain't No Grave." The collective outcome (a cool music video) is clear.

Every summer, the Celebrate Brooklyn festival brings dozens of outstanding artists to perform free concerts in Prospect Park. The announcements are broadcast at 4 pm, which leaves plenty of time to grab a blanket, pack a picnic, and get to the park to enjoy music and dance under the stars. After the hubs and I heard the Studio One Soul CD playing during breakfast at Pizzaiolo last Saturday, we went right over to Amoeba Music, and got a copy. After going to Amoeba, we visited a few artists' studios as part of the East Bay Open Studios , including the Institute for Mosaic Arts.
