Or a team of volunteers that manage communications (from phone trees to canvassing). We should approach offline action as one of many channels available to us to reach our mission. We should expand that view and definition of multi-channel to include offline action and mobile messaging/text. Start small.

If most of your operations happen offline, just make sure the staff member in charge of sponsorships is aware of your constituents’ information. Qualify those statistics with stories from your donors, volunteers and beneficiaries. Stories generate empathy, so who knows—maybe a potential sponsor will be moved to action.

Focus on Engagement That Leads To Action. The Facebook “Like” button will morph and include more actions. According to this post from All Facebook , these actions might include: Want, Buy, Own, Listen, Read, Eat, Watch, Work Out – whatever developers create. This advice still holds true.

Despite the hard work of many volunteers, some events make very little money once expenses are subtracted from the total. When you have clear goals for your event and a detailed map of action steps to work on, you can have a very successful event. Talk to other organizations and ask for their advice on executing a successful event.

The campaign provides advice on how to self-examine and help detect signs and symptoms. This was my third visit to the country. Engagement with a purpose and knowing your audience.
