The thing that is prompting this post is the little storm about the security metric that we used to try and get a handle on the security of the 4 different systems we reviewed. But they are so busy living in that mentality of scarcity and competition, that they can’t do that kind of collaboration. This reminds me of a true story.

All of the free and open source options did quite well in terms of Quality, Usability, and Value. Only two proprietary CMS systems, Antharia’s and Ektron, had scores as good as the open source CMS.The CMS options from the big three (er, now the big two) didn’t score as well. Next step — CRM.
