Visitor Co-Created Museum Experiences This session was a dream for me, one that brought together instigators of three participatory exhibit projects: MN150 (Kate Roberts), Click! It's a shame that several of these projects are labeled as "experimental" and don't have formal evaluation built into their cheap, fast processes.

I am glad this conversation is happening and that both museum professionals and local Santa Cruzans are engaged. To me, the backlash against participatory and community-centered experiences is not surprising.

I talked with Sarah Rich , one of the project’s instigators and staff members, to learn more about 48 Hour Magazine and its implications for other participatory media projects.
