It was this audio pricing that drove a stake in the heart of my ReadyTalk plan. It does, apparently, do audio via VOIP. It’s $.24

Lack of technical skills or software tools in cutting, splicing, fading the audio and weaving it with the video track. Reflection: MovieMaker is limited or perhaps it is my technical skill. You can't "silence" the audio in the video by clip or sections of the story board. Tools: -Windows Movie Maker -QuickTime Pro.

When I saw Steve Garfield model this technique in his workshop at Boston Podcamp , I realized my problem! Shoot close to your subject so the audio doesn't suck especially when using a camera with built-in mic. Practice and Reflection is really useful. Ryanne told me to practice and that eventually I'd get a feel for what works.
