I'm always astonished when I hear about a child who was raised in the city, and thinks that carrots come from the store (rather than a farm), but honestly, if you asked me, "Where does your water comes from?" my minimal knowledge makes me only a step away from answering, "the faucet."

Zen and the Art of Nonprofit Technology

The interesting thing, too, is that their model is that they take a percentage of what you raise (5%.) I’m really psyched about the Nonprofit Development Summit , happening here, in my (current) fair city, Oakland (I love it that I don’t have to travel so much anymore.) No setup fees or anything else. Go figure.
