So, I thank my dad for teaching me the following business and life lessons : Listen - Growing up, I thought my Dad was perhaps shy or quiet. He loved even more to teach. Mentoring is equally powerful. I now fully understand the need to prepare for presentations, meetings, interviews, etc. He loved to learn. I miss you.

Over the last 11 years, I’ve conducted hundreds of in-depth interviews with people who experience chronic stress at a seven or above on a 10-point scale – that’s severe, very severe, or worst possible levels of stress – and they managed to avoid burnout. Question: The book's servant leadership teachings are particularly interesting.

In an interview for a previous ED position, I was asked to provide an example of how I demonstrated “extreme frugality.” This was back in the days of coupon-clipping, and while I momentarily pondered that as a response, I knew it was not “extreme ” enough for the interviewing board members. Perhaps that was an overshare?
