But the fruits of my labor has gotten so much richer with the integration of social networking tools, particularly social bookmarking services. Look at the bookmarks of folks who first tagged an item that is popular. I also look at the bookmarks of first taggers of resources that I find particularly useful.

The best new media managers, online community builders, bloggers, and activists will be connected and communicating with their supporters from anywhere, at any time when the need arises. It would be great to see nonprofit new media managers and bloggers do the same at galas, fundraisers, meetings on Capitol Hill, protests, etc.

That was the name of the session for this Thursday's Bloggers Meeting at the Berkman Center. The session begain with an overview of some of the familiar services that are using tagging. There was also a look at the differences between spurl, furl, and delicious in terms of clusters, related tags, bookmarking widgets, private tags, etc.
