We had 40 "emerging technology" professionals on the team, and we couldn't sufficiently self-motivate to do our work on the wiki instead of an antiquated email list. But wikis are a very specific tool. The participatory "ask" is high--to create original content. The wiki has to be the best tool for the job. over email.
