The project was developed by Elizabeth Briel , an American artist and photographer, who will be based in Siem Reap as of June, 2005. C4C will put cameras in the hands of children aged 10-16. My own little action learning project.

The children are ages 6-16, and they're making huge strides by leading a national movement against child rape in Zimbabwe. It was about woman entrepreneurs who were sending their children to school with the money they earned, even though they were living themselves on a dollar a day. And, their weapon is poetry.

Now I work at a history-focused museum with a similar mentality; as a for-profit insititution, we operate more like other guest service businesses (theme parks, restaurants) than collecting institutions.
