It was exciting for me to participate in this meeting , which was roughly balanced between funders and conservation groups. I particularly heard about the need of Miradi to do more for advocacy groups, foundations and smaller groups (who need a simpler solution). This is a very action-oriented community.

The tools I am currently using are Facebook, two Twitter accounts (one for National messaging via @PanCAN and one specifically for advocacy efforts via @Advocate4PanCAN), YouTube, LinkedIn, MySpace and Delicious. It helped people connect and experience Advocacy Day 2010 from their homes.
