The study found that not only did the initial hard fundraising ask increase giving, but churn rates were actually lower on this group as well.

Orgs 1 and 2 saw their Gmail open rates increase, with Org 1 getting a corresponding lift in click-through rates. Orgs 4 and 5 saw a bit more variance. Don’t Panic.
