The easiest way to listen to your volunteers’ voices is to conduct a survey. Offer mentor/mentee volunteer programs. For example, Monday could be motivational, Tuesday could be tips, Wednesday could be wisdom, Thursday could be thanksgiving, and Friday could be fun. Personal perks. Assigning mentors to new members is one way to get that ball rolling. Just remember to keep them short, fun, and engaging.
