I could imagine a delightful application on a museum website that would allow me to chat with a stranger about a featured artifact or artwork. I could imagine a game in which people were paired up and asked to construct a vision of a better future.

When I graduated in 2003, I moved out here to California and worked with the San Jose Museum of Art before getting a job with Linden Labs. He's a few years younger than me, so very much part of the video game generation. I learned a lot from San Jose Art Museum. He immediately "got it" and started flying around.

This morning I attended the MacArthur Foundation Digital Learning briefing that was taking place at the Natural History Museum in NYC. The only advice out there is to limit screen time. " Dr. Mizuko described some findings in their research about informal learning and using games, even simple games like card trading games.
