For my 50th birthday, I held a 50th Birthday Card Photo Remix Contest on flickr and donated $50 the winner's favorite charity. September is Hunger Awareness Month so why not give a donation of canned goods and cash to your local food bank? And, yes they did ! But it doesn' t always have to be you asking people to donate.

You can also share the impact of your organization's programs through podcasts, sharing photos on Flickr, or videos on YouTube or other video sharing sites. But don't ignore the other two areas. I think NTEN is a terrific example of the rule of thirds.
