Teachers or grandparents could maintain bookmarks of their students or grandchildren's updates with each visit. But in a children's museum context, I could see these websites getting much more use.

I was pretty doubtful about the general usefulness of content-less social networking sites (as distinct from those that are content-driven, like flickr and del.icio.us ) but it seems that Facebook is becoming a platform, and has ceased to become simply a social networking site. Which may or may not, be a good thing. I’m not sure.
