Similar to the funders in my previous post on education , the organizations listed below focus their efforts on activities inside and outside of the classroom. Their priorities range from facilitating book donation drives to supporting arts education to funding playground construction and family literacy programs. . The Lisa Libraries.

They can either collect regular donations or pledges from family and friends based on the number of pages or books they read on their personal fundraising pages at the conclusion of the read-a-thon. When participants make donation asks to their networks, they need a place where their family members and friends can go to make donations.

During the US Thanksgiving holiday, Tweetsgiving asked people around the world to use Twitter to share something they were grateful for and include the link to the Tweetsgiving site (where people could donate to help build a library, classroom and more for the benefiting school in Tanzania).

Having only been incorporated for a year and receiving just last week an anonymous donation to cover our 501c3 filing, we still have a little way to go before we get there.
