Microsoft has joined TechSoup for a similar partnership to highlight, promote, and award nonprofits and public libraries which have used Microsoft-donated products from TechSoup to work better.

I’ve had a lot of experience with online contests, both as a participant (winner) and working two reflection papers for the Case Foundation ‘s America’s Giving Challenge. I said that I wished contest designers would take a Hippocratic Oath to do no harm to nonprofits! Designate a cheer leader.

Go the extra mile with your appreciation efforts by reviewing your volunteer database to gather data on your top-performing volunteers. You can host a contest for your volunteers to come up with designs for their blankets. It will help your organization retain high-performing volunteers. Volunteers can vote for their favorite option.
