And this works pretty well in science museums, where designers talk about "hardening" exhibits to withstand the more aggressive touchers among us. Art, however, does not come to museums pre-hardened. Day Twelve was a brand new church plant of about 30 people that met in a historic home in the heart of downtown, which it converted into an art gallery. Jon Ashcroft is a designer who works for Redemption and helped Poiema and Day Twelve with rebranding to New City Church. It would have saved ourselves a lot of organizational pain.
