I asked a few colleagues on Blogher and beyond and discovered a few excellent blogs and video blogs that offer advice and recipes for parents who want to make sure their kids are eating a healthy meal. The young people work on farms to harvest foods, donating half to local shelters. Applications are being accepted until November 9th!

We went and had a victory party and then woke up the next day and realized that it didn't really matter because the company that wanted to build had gone to the state legislature to get them to pass a law to undercut the local ordinance that would protect our water.
