About a year ago we began creating all reports and other printer-friendly output from our Members Only applications as pdf files and opening them for viewing. I’m getting re-used to the concept of a file browser on a phone again. Since the desktop Zinio app is build on Adobe Air and Adobe technologies are better supported on Android, it’s not that surprising. Tagged: Android , apps , Google , iphone , Samsung Infuse. That, plus an external battery and SD card.

Collaborative Files I couldn't get through my day without Dropbox , which I have blogged about before. Dropbox continuously replicates local files to a personal cloud file space and synchronizes those folders across multiple computers and mobile devices. Within a personal file space, you can define shared folders with others.

I've never used Adobe products seriously, and I had to learn a lot about how to format text and images as well as how to design a book overall. Self-Publishing with Print-On-Demand "Print on demand" systems allow you to upload book files (usually PDFs), which are then used to print books to order. But it was also incredibly exhausting.

if you are recroding with multiple people, you can record them to separate audio files so you can edit more easily. allows you to backup the files by recording to multiple devices. Want one that recrods to mp3 or wav files (will be sending mp3 out for production eventually). File size - length depends on the format of your show.

With Screen Steps, I can easily edit the file to replace an image or rewrite a step. If someone prefers to create a Word file rather than a Google Doc, that's fine. If they'd rather email a file than collaborate online, that's fine too. In the end, we just ask that no vital files are kept only on laptop hard drives.
