Last week, we had a NpTech Conference call (see Marnie's notes here and my stabb at a summary here ) During the call Nancy White mentioned "social search" and later she forwarded this note about a Yi-Tan tech community call on the topic today.

Kevin Rose of Digg fame launched a new social sharing site called Pownce to much buzz and mixed reviews. I thought, this might be great geek bait for the NpTech Facebook group experiment. Monitor what’s being bubbled up about you on Digg. Each of the above will let you search for a word or phrase and then get the RSS feed for that search. You’ll want to grab the RSS feed for each of the searches you performed before you move on to the next step in the process(setting up an iGoogle Listening Dashboard).

The NTEN's NTC and NPTech Pipe. We have the NPTech Meta Tag Feed (which aggregates about dozen feeds of NpTech tagged items and I'm still using for various reasons); Kikono.org (which uses an NpTech feed and digg like features) and now we have the two pipes from NTEN - the NTC pipe and the NpTech Pipe.
