Google Global Impact Award competitions have been held in India and the UK, and most recently in the San Francisco Bay Area. Old-fashioned cooking methods kill millions each year. He now lives in rural Kenya working on eye care.

Folks from every aspect of our society, and every profession are involved in the food system. He is now the CEO of Growing Power , an organization that develops community food systems. He was named the 2012 NCAA Theodore Roosevelt Award recipient. There's lots of excitement, but now we have to prove that this works.
