Major congratulations to Jamie Biggar of Leadnow ( www.leadnow.ca ) for winning the 2013 Care2 Impact Prize for his outstanding impact on online advocacy and fundraising. Biggar receives a cash award of $1,000, and Care2 will donate an additional $1,000 to his favorite charity. Below is a brief video shown at the awards luncheon.

Although I hate the idea of talking over lunch, I'm glad that two years ago, under former ED Katrin Verclas, we added the awards ceremony to our closing lunch at the NTC. The annual awards luncheon is always one of my favorites and this year was a little bittersweet. The Life Time Achievement award went to Rob Stuart, the godfather of the NpTech movement , who sadly passed away in October. After a wonderful video tribute, she said, “Thanks NTEN, you have my back!
