If I find a track or some song, I’ll base a project off of that song. Aside from music, the quality of your audio is really key. It’s okay for the footage to be blurry or black and white, as long as the audio quality is great. Instead of scripting anything, you spend a day with the organization and you see what you get.

While not every nonprofit needs to invest the resources to make scripted videos, we wanted to try the new format to better serve our audience, particularly the different learners coming to our site. As for the sound, I had an Audio-Technica AT899 lavalier microphone attached to record my voice. Processing and Production.

Podcasting is formally defined as the act of distributing syndicated audio content online via RSS to listeners who use software or a hardware device to receive updates. No reason to be afraid: the important part of this definition is that the audio content is syndicated. The bit rate determines the quality of the audio.

Track your RSVPs. It’s also a great idea to send along a call script and encourage folks to get on the phone to make personal invitations. If no one is familiar with the individual, do a quick search online to see if you can find the donor's name in an audio or video clip. RSVPs need to be carefully recorded and confirmed.

Use a script: Write out your questions in advance and this keeps you on track. I have to stick it in people's faces to get acceptable (to me) audio quality. Speaking of good audio, I raised this question on the video bloggers listserv and David Tames (who took the photo stills in the video) offered some great tricks here.

" If your organization is using social media, perhaps you've been wondering how to measure or whether if you can even measure "embeds" (that cut and paste script for videos, badges, widgets, and the like). Use the track trends option and set to track "Nptech" for nptech related twitters.
