This is all set to happen at this week's New Organizing Institute (NOI)'s RootsCamp National 2012 unconference (Nov 30th and Dec 1st, here in D.C.) -- a mecca of sorts for the organizer faithful. The sessions, although seemingly organized on the fly in the unconference style, were very thoughtful and informative.

Conference , especially the “ unconference sessions “ in Washington, DC on Friday. We kicked off the conference with an interview style keynote about the Networked Nonprofit, moderated by fabulous Shireen Mitchell (aka digitalsista ). Everything looks like a failure in the middle as Rosabeth Moss Kanter likes to say.

Unconference this really resonated with me when Paul Young of charity: water said in his keynote, what if your online communications (website, social media, fundraising appeals) looked like how you talked. How uninspiring for a sector filled with passionate people who are trying to change the world and make it a better place to live.
