This past Saturday at the SHINE09 unconferance , David Wilcox , Andy Gibson , Drew Mackie and I facilitated a version of what was called the Social Collaboration Game. If we limit the funding conversations to the end, I think groups will have more time to talk about their ideas and will worry less about understanding a fictional Borough.

I had a great time yesterday at Transparency Camp '09 in DC - kudos to Peter Corbett , and Gabriela Schneider and Clay Johnson and others at Sunlight Foundation , as well as others for catalyzing it. And the " bar camp " format, or unconference or "open space" approach, really leads to meaningful topics and peer to peer discussions.

Judging by the 7,034 views of the 09NTC Scholarship campaign ( Holly's remake of Beyonce's Single Ladies video ), I've concluded that spandex is 12 times more interesting to our community than muppets. . Thursday also included the Science Fair , which had an all time high of 92 exhibitor booths. Maybe next year in DC.
