As political campaigns and nonprofits gear up for the election cycle, I thought I would share this infographic that attempts to map the politics of social media properties like Facebook and websites like Wikipedia. Predictive modeling was then used to map the politics of the social web.

A great source for images for your nonprofit’s website, blog, e-newsletter, and social networking profiles. It’s a throwback from social networking circa 2006. Addictomatic :: addictomatic.com.

If web users knew of someone else who needed help, 44 percent would ask other people in their social network to contact authorities, 35 percent would post a request for help directly on a response agency’s Facebook page and 28 percent would send a direct Twitter message to responders.
