campaign's objective was to encourage social media activists to show solidarity with the Red Cross by displaying Red Cross PSAs, videos, photos, widgets, on their online spaces. We also encouraged people to change their avatars (see above). I wouldn't normally do a press release, but on such short notice we needed to get the word out.

There's YouTube video here. Rik visited the homeless avatar: I decided to pop into SL to check it out. I found a bedraggled looking avatar sleeping in a cardboard box with a crude sign asking for donations. They have sponsored 296 foster homes housing 2,300 children!
