MySpace was and still is (for some) the easiest social networking site to grow a community quickly. Famous on MySpace and to teens across the world, outside of MySpace they are hardly known. As a regualr MySpace user, there is no denying that MySpace is more diverse than any other social networking site. They are all on MySpace.

You can use a Facebook event, Eventbrite or a simple campaign site like splashthat. We love the New York Public Library’s Anti-Proms , which provide an alternative, safe space regardless of sexuality, gender identity, and any other reason for NYC teens. Bonus points if the artist does an entire custom flash related to your cause.

Guard staff who are willing to let an artist step between two panes of glass to perform. The Walker is also a place where everyone is committed to supporting artists and new work, so every time we bring in an artist, staff are enthusiastic about the idea of coming together to create something. It's inherent in what we do.

It was started in 2003 and is run by Mark Allen and a collective of artists, many of whom have also been applying their talents by performing "interventions" at formal art institutions including LACMA, the Hammer Museum, and the Contemporary Art Museum in St. PieLab (Greensboro, AL).

Trying to engaged the teen-to-twenty-something who normally may not use the research library. An overnight at the library, only 500 people – over 5,000 entered and many more were viewing the site etc. Staged a major exhibition celebrating the spectrum of what is in the library, public programs partners with The Moth.

After jumping in, you swam across the short length of the hole (about 10 yards), and emerge, wet and freezing, only to get to race through temps in the teens to try to warm up in a lukewarm hot tub. A young artist program you hope to get off the ground? But here I am, still alive. Are there works of art you want to restore?
