Write a Call-to-Action (CTA) That Inspires Engagement

Anyone can understand your campaign at a glance with CTAs like: “Donate $27 to Support Oakland Teachers” or “Give Just $5 a Month to Save the Rainforest” Both examples follow a formula of ACTION WORD + DOLLAR AMOUNT + RESULT. We’ll re-emphasize a final time: clarity is key for a successful CTA.

But as a bonus, I learned from Facebook expert Mari Smith , that sandwich boards and window clings with Facebook and Twitter IDS are an effective technique to close the loop between offline and social media. The line was out the door.
