The result displays in table format as well as visualized on an interactive shaded map of the US. Over 1,500 mashups later, and a first prize win in the contest, DataMasher is proving to be a great experiment in data transparency. This elevates you from just somebody with data to a service on which the rest of the community depends.

Ushahidi entered our legendary third NetSquared Mashup Challenge in Santa Clara, California in May 2008. The information would be compiled and displayed in real time online on a map. The NetSquared Challenges Foster Tech Innovation. We got to know Ushahidi mere months after the platform launched.
