Catalogue for Philanthropy made use of Giving Tuesday Now (a national fundraising day to support nonprofits through COVID) to hype up their own one-day giving event online. Unlike many other nonprofits, Catalogue for Philanthropy used the day to raise dollars for over 200 local nonprofits in their area. Guest Speaker.

As I wrote back in September when first covering Giving Tuesday, Giving Days are not a new idea and have been successful in local communities and entire states, like GiveMN which raised many millions of dollars in 24 hours using the Razoo platform its first year. Give to the Max in Minnesota Day. GiveMN a new online resource that hopes to encourage more Minnesotans to give and help create a stronger nonprofit community for Minnesota. Individuals can browse the site and find local nonprofits and make a donation online. The partners are a mix of local foundations and corporations.
