My co-presenter for the plenary was the amazing Marcelo Iniarra , who is a digital mobilization pioneer and fantastic presenter/facilitator. The moderator, Marcelo Jamberio, organized a set of questions that other Marcelo and I responded to with slides and audience interaction. The audience laughed. Everyone loves a good story.

The instructional design included different delivery methods: interactive lecture with slides and whiteboard, facilitation with sticky notes, small group exercises, posters, group discussion, self-directed activities, and self-directed online activities. I used David Hood as an example. Not only does this help me frame and tailor the talk I give to the audience, but facilitates Twitter conversations before. So making the audience part of the slide deck and inviting commentary surfaces the wisdom and knowledge in the room. These ideas are illustrated in the slides below.
