Last year was my inaugural year attending NTC, and within a few hours of landing in snowy Minneapolis, I was meeting hundreds of nptechies at the pre-conference party, #NTCBeer. Tolkien discussed their epic stories in the pubs of Oxford and I envision the same level of world changing ideas happening within the conversations at #NTCBeer.

Last week, I was in Minneapolis for the American Association of Museums annual meeting. While I'm always inspired by stories of how we take risks to make programming more relevant and dynamic (thanks, Lisa Lee and the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum ), I was particularly struck by Kathy's thoughtful framing of the session.

They made sure that we got to hear stories from some of these folks, but they put a face on what our impact would be if we gave. Yeah, 60/40.
