Its Nonprofit section has a list of nonprofits related to stopping genocide, and a leaderboard of Change.org members who are raising money for the cause. But, to be perfectly honest, I need an easy way to take action.

Sometimes it’s a matter of zeroing in on a single aspect of your organization’s work or an unexpected story, such as two volunteers falling in love while serving soup side-by-side in the homeless shelter’s kitchen. Instead, focus on the cause. Keep the pitch focused on the issue, not what programs your nonprofit offers to help people.
